Sweet BMW Cake...

Hello....

Its been quite a while.  I was busy as usual and its time for courses for next year's preparation of school.  If you're wondering what this is...well I'll tell you.  It's kind of a car but its not.  Its a mock BMW..just the front part.  I'm sure you remember my Myvi car, well someone love the car so much that she placed an order on the spot.  She is Ina's cousin and she saw the cake when she went to her wedding and she called me right away and asked me to do a BMW.  And she wanted it on the next day.... :-(..I had to declined and then she cheated...she asked her mom to call me.  My weakest spot...mummies...oowh.  I just can't do it because I have another wedding cake to finish and then her mom said that if I can't come up with a car, she'll be happy with a license plate cake.  I just can't do it like that to her because its for her husband and they're having a party so, I googled and came up with a picture of the front grill of a BMW.  I love it and just had to do it.

And so I did the cake and it got there on time.  Had a lot of fun doing it too.  Thanks Ju for choosing me to do the cake for your father.  I hope you enjoyed it.

Sweet Indulgence Chocolate Cake

Hi you all,

Chocolate..chocolate..and more chocolate.  I got some free time in my hand that I took some time doing this chocolate cake for Ana, my friend and my most loyal customer.  She's pregnant with her third child and is craving for my chocolate cake.  So, I did this one specially for her.

You know what she said when she asked me to make a chocolate cake?  She said that she wanted a sexy and irresistible chocolate cake.  So, when she got her cake, I texted her and asked fs the cake was sexy and irresistible enough?  She said..`Can't text you right now...I'm having my special moment with the cake." Haha..hope her baby had a nice time too in there.  Hope you enjoy my short entry for today.  I have a batch of Pavlova in the oven and I'll tell you everything about it next time.  See you soon.

Sweet Peach Ombre Vanilla Cake

I love peaches..but sadly this is not a peach cake.  It's a peach coloured vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. I would love to make a peach cake though, I just have to figure out how to do it.  One of these days maybe.  

It was one of those Sundays where I just sit boredly at home.  My mind was full of ideas and after cooking and sitting down with my family for lunch, I got up and with a bowl on my hip and a whisk in my hand, whipped up a very simple vanilla cake.  It was for tea.

I know ombre and ruffles are the latest trend in cake decorating and I'm itching to do another one after I did my Pink Vanilla Frills and the Ombre Bee Hive cake.  So, I sat quietly at the dinner table and start piping away.  I had bought the peach colour for quite some time and did not get a chance to use it.  I used a petal nozzle and with the thin side up I ruffled the buttercream left and right.  If you were wondering that it was time consuming, the answer is no.  I finished the ruffles in less than 30 minutes.

Do you like the ombre cake layers?  I love it and next time I'm going to do more layers.  The cake was delicious and my husband took some to school for his friends.  Hope they like it.  I hope you like it too.  Don't forget to come again for my next post.  See ya..

Sweet Birthday Cake

Hello Again......

Morning...I hope it will be a good day today.  Lets go straight to business ok...this is a vanilla cake.  I got that a lot lately...I love vanilla too.  This one is vanilla with blueberry and fresh cream filling.  It is for none other but the father of the Petronas Twin Tower's groom.  His wife wanted to surprise her husband when he comes home from work..

He loves blueberry and I wish I could give him fresh blueberries fillings but it is so hard to find fresh ones here. I have to travel to Johor Bahru to get them and it is a one hour drive from here.  If this order came a week before I think it might be possible but it was a last minute order and I can't say no to his wife because she was  one of my favourite customer and you still are sweetie... :-)

So, Happy Birthday abang Zainal and I hope it was a nice one...hope you like the cake.  To all of you out there who read my posts and viewed my cake and loving it, thank you very much.  I really appreciate it and I see you soon in my next post.

Sweet Pillow & High Heel Cake

Good morning,

          How are you this morning?  I hope that everything is fine.  My flight is in the evening and I have some time to kill before it is due.  Yesterday I made a cake for my sister's birthday.  Remember I told you that she wanted a shoe cake? So, I made her one.

She didn't tell me what colour she wanted so I made a pink heel on top of a pink pillow.  The cake was a small one and it was quite easy to do.  Next time I think I want to try to do a bigger pillow and maybe do stacks of them.

My sister loves the Gossip Girl series and she told me that the shoe reminded her of the series.  I would'nt know because I have never seen the story.  I'll just take her word for it.  She adores the cake and we all waited like 5 hours for her to cut the cake.  

Here is my sister with her cake.  She is my youngest sister and I love her.  I hope she have a great life up ahead and achieve her dream.  

....and here was the damages!!!

Friends, please pray for my Mom and my safety.  We are going to be away for two weeks and I hope to see you in another post soon after that.  Enjoy the picture, bye.

Sweet Handbag & High Heel Cake

Good evening everyone,

         I'm spending some free time with my family this evening.  Lately I've been super busy baking and fulfilling my customer's orders and at times I think I'll be sleeping next to my oven.  The poor thing is switched on from early morning to late at night.  I'm enjoying my free time with my family this evening and being lazy..still if I were given another thing to do, I'd choose baking and decorating every time.
       
           This is my latest cake.  The cake is red velvet with blueberry cream cheese filling.  Red velvet is all the rage right now. The theme is my latest favourite, handbag and heel.  Don't you just love shoes..?  Look at my red heel...like it?

This cake is for my most loyal customer and also a dear friend of mine, Ana.  She loves cakes and she is giving this one for her very best friend Nazarina.  She didn't give any details on what type of shoes or handbag for me to make, she just said handbag and shoes.  I always google first whenever I have new project to do and I've seen many great shoes cake by many cake artist.  I was so inspired and despite the lack of tools needed to produce a cake as beautiful as I've seen, I gave all my best to come up with this one.  

        Ana and her best friend loved the cake.  I am very happy that I made them happy.  My sister saw the picture of this cake on my facebook and she demanded that I make her a high heel cake too.  She even gave me her colour...but you know, I love her and I do anything to make her happy.  So, wait for the next shoe cake okay.  I had a great time doing this cake.  

I'm going away for a few weeks and I'll be back with more cakes.  Hope you like this one as much as I do, bye..enjoy the pictures.

Sweet Picnic Cake

Hi, everybody.....

This is Ariff.  A cute and very friendly boy who celebrated his birthday recently.  He celebrated his fifth birthday at a resort and his mom and dad had a great picnic for that occasion.  His mom Eliah who ordered the Petronas Twin Towers Cake, asked me to do a cake for his birthday and since they were having a picnic for his birthday party, I suggested a picnic cake.

This cake is another one of my favourite.  It is a red velvet cake which is Eliah's favourite.  Ariff wanted a small croc somewhere on the cake, so I made him one.  Can you spot the croc?

I took many pictures of this cake.  I just love it and had great fun doing it.  The stones are actually candies that I bought at the mall and I made the tree from modelling paste.  I have to work on my tree skills..

I love everything about this theme, the mushrooms, the orange snail and of course the croc.  Just so you know, Ariff ate the croc first..he had a great time biting the head off the croc...haha.  Did you see the picnic basket? I like that too. I' so grateful to Eliah because she gave me the chance to do her son's cake.  It was fun.

Sweet Teachers Day Cake

Hi,

         Happy Teachers Day to all teachers around the world.  We had a wonderful celebration at our school.  This year I didn't take part in many activities in the celebration but I did play in the teachers netball team and won. Yay...what? Okay..okay, we played against a bunch of 12 years old...teruk kan, cikgu ni? Haha...it was fun.  We gave the prizes to the 12 years old who fought real hard and they deserve it anyway.

        This yellow cake is for my school and all my friends here.  It was a vanilla cake with blueberry filling.  My friends love it and I also bake a carrot cake for them.

The blue cake is for my husband's school ans it was a red velvet with cream cheese filling.  I don't know if they like it or not because my husband did not go to school for these few weeks.  He is giving course to non option English teachers here in Kluang.  Well, I hope they had a great time.
