I just finished decorating the carrot wedding cake for my friend. I think I'm going to grow a hump. I've been sitting for more than five hours! Imagine that...but the fruit is soo sweet. I am so glad I finished it and my husband gave me a pat on my back and told me I did a great job. So, what do you think? I hope you like it and most important of all, I hope my friend, Isma (who ordered this cake for her friend) likes it.
The bride's name is Ain and the groom's name is Azam so I just put their initial on the cake. When I think about the design I thought that it would be simple and easy to do it but it turns out that it is time consuming.
First I did a stencil for the stems and leaves on a piece of plastic. Then I rolled the fondant as thin as possible and cut it with a craft knife using the stencil that I did. Then I put them on the cake using a drawing that I did as reference.
I did the anemone on Monday so, the flower is now hard and easy to handle. I hope I did good. Well, I got another birthday cake okay..bye.
